Dot NAME Domain Names

Established in 2001, the Dot NAME top-level domain name extension is the single TLD planned for personal web pages only. These domains can consist of personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other titles people are famous by. At first, just third-level registrations were permitted, so if you wanted to register john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were liberalized and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already taken 3rd-level domains remained functional.

Through our company, you can obtain your dot NAME domain for an interval between one and ten years. You will be able to correct the WHOIS details, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an active domain to our firm if you get its EPP transfer code from the current registrar company and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been finished. There are no particular restrictions on who can grab a .NAME domain name, but in order to keep the objective behind its establishment alive, the dot NAME Registry may check who the Registrant is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration can be challenged.
